As an established Clinical Pharmacist, my journey embodies a fusion of passion, purpose, and relentless pursuit of service excellence. My academic journey commenced at Ahmadu Bello University, where I honed my skills and nurtured my fascination with pharmaceutical sciences. Armed with a master’s degree in clinical pharmacy and a solid foundation in therapeutics, I embarked on a multifaceted career spanning Community, Hospital, and Academic domains.

Within the hallowed halls of Kaduna State University, I assumed the mantle of a Lecturer, imparting knowledge, nurturing young minds, and igniting the flames of curiosity in future pharmacists. Simultaneously, I delved into the heart of community service, orchestrating research endeavours and championing initiatives to fortify public health resilience.

My tenure as the Head of Pharmacy at Dialogue Specialist Clinic epitomised the pinnacle of patient-centric care. Steering a team with finesse, I orchestrated the delivery of high-quality clinical services, fostering an environment of compassion, competence, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of our patients.

Beyond the confines of conventional practice, my research interests traverse the vast expanse of clinical pharmacy, resonating with themes of Public Health, Pharmacoepidemiology, Emergency Preparedness, and Antimicrobial Resistance. These passions find manifestation in publications dissecting the depths of pharmacists’ knowledge in emergency scenarios, assessing the sources of drug information shaping clinical decisions, and evaluating the competency of frontline healthcare providers in managing malnourished patients.

My journey is inspired by the spirit of collaboration, as evidenced by my affiliations with esteemed organisations such as the Pharmacy Society of Nigeria, Elkheir Foundation, and Global Healthcare Academy. Through these conduits, I channel my energies towards transformative change, spearheading research initiatives and advocating for equitable healthcare access.

As I stand at the precipice of possibility, adorned with accolades such as the IBR grant award, I am fueled by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a genuine desire to leave an indelible mark on the landscape of clinical pharmacy. With each stride forward, I am convinced that my endeavours serve a higher purpose – to alleviate suffering, enhance well-being, and usher in a future where healthcare knows no bounds.
