Advancing Health Equity for Women and Girls in Nigeria

The Elkheir Healthcare Foundation is dedicated to building a future where all women and girls in Nigeria have equal access to quality healthcare. We are working to achieve this vision through community-driven programs, improving access to essential healthcare services, and an education and policy advocacy approach that aligns with and supports the achievement of SDGs 3, 4 and 10 targets.

Many Nigerians struggle to access education and healthcare. We aim to make essential health information and training accessible to all, bridging the gap in education and healthcare.

HEALTH

We are committed to actively participating in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDG 3 emphasizes the interconnectedness of health with other developmental goals, recognizing that health is a fundamental human right and a crucial driver and indicator of sustainable development.

RESEARCH

Health research provides valuable insights into diseases, risk factors, treatment outcomes, and the effectiveness of public health interventions. We aim to bring about transformative change through evidence generation, policy engagement, and support for health and development interventions.
