Munira Musa Ladan

Munira Ladan is a pharmacist and global health professional committed to enhancing the well-being of underserved communities. As the Founder and Director of the Elkheir Healthcare Foundation, she addresses disparities in health service access through community initiatives, policy advocacy, education, and research.

As a Global Youth Ambassador at Theirworld, she is a passionate advocate for improved access, inclusion, and opportunities for women and adolescent girls in health education in Nigeria.

With a commendable track record, she has positively impacted thousands of women and girls in Nigeria. Noteworthy accolades, such as the British Government’s Chevening Scholarship and the NYSC Award of Community Development Service, have been bestowed upon her for exceptional leadership and influencing skills.

With a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master’s in global public health and policy from the prestigious Queen Mary University of London, Munira’s academic pursuits are a testament to her determination to devise sustainable solutions for addressing health disparities, contributing significantly to the realization of the United Nations SDG Goals.

As an SDG champion and project manager for Nigeria Youth Corps Members in Kaduna State, Munira has successfully implemented SDG projects. Over the past three years, her role as a board member of the Nigeria Association of Foreign-trained Pharmacists (NAFTraPh) has also provided strategic and operational guidance.

Munira’s dedication to health policy reform is unwavering. Her vision is to become an expert in this field and collaborate with organizations to address health disparities across Nigeria.
