What is the Period Box?
The Period Box is a simple but powerful solution to menstrual health challenges in schools. Each partner school receives a stocked box filled with sanitary pads and hygiene supplies. When a girl needs support, she can access the box quickly.
Our goal is clear: keep girls in class, reduce absenteeism, and create a supportive school environment where menstruation is not a barrier.
Our Approach:
- Access: Schools receive a Period Box stocked with hundreds of sanitary pads.
- Education: Menstrual health talks accompany the program to fight stigma.
- Impact Tracking: Each box is monitored monthly to measure use and outcomes.
